Transfiguration
Literally means, “Seeing Spirit on the face of another person,” and that the persons features are changed into those resembling a passed over spirit.
Mostly associated with Saints and with ancient text.
Transfiguration can be achieved by a spirit medium to show Spirit on their own face, or on the face of a suitable subject.
This is a very serious connection with Spirit, and not be undertaken lightly. It has been used in recent years as something of an ‘entertainment’, where certain people are taken onto a stage by a medium, and Spirit is brought through... if undertaken in the right setting, usually in a small intimate group, this can bring real benefits and blessings to the relatives of the person who has passed over. But on large-scale in a huge hall with hundreds of people, this can often be confusing and inappropriate to many of the people taking part.
We it Silver Moon strongly hold the belief that all of the audience in this sort of situation, should have at least some basic knowledge of Spirit, and belief in Spirit, be open-minded and have been previously prepared for what is about to take place on the stage, and have absolute confidence in the spirit medium organising proceedings.
During some of our Moon Lodge get-togethers, we have at Silver Moon achieved Transfiguration during our meetings, but all of those taking part had at least a deep interest in the spiritual, and most were healers and psychics. The whole evening was planned ahead, and each person knew exactly what their part was within it.
Under these conditions and circumstances, it was a ‘special’ and enlightening experience.
As with any undertaken in this sort which involves connection with the world of Spirit, we believe that a practised and experience Spirit Medium should always be present!
